Janelle Martinez,
Graduate Counseling Intern

Hello, I’m Janelle Martinez. I am a graduate counseling intern currently completing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Texas A&M University–Kingsville, where I also earned Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Sociology. In addition to my graduate internship, I hold an LCDC-Intern license (Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor-Intern). My experience includes facilitating group counseling for individuals with chemical dependency concerns and conducting one-on-one sessions.
My passion as a counselor is to walk alongside individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, stress, addiction, and life transitions. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped to make meaningful changes in their lives.
Whether working individually or in groups, I strive to provide encouragement, insight, and practical tools that foster clarity, resilience, and personal growth.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing and wellness.
