Stacy Hooper,
MS, NCC, LPC

Hi, I’m Stacy. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and proud U.S. Army veteran. While stationed in South Korea, I had the chance to play softball on the women’s team and also joined the coed team for fun, until an ankle injury sidelined me. Those experiences taught me a lot about teamwork, resilience, and finding joy even in tough times.

I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and a Master of Science in Counseling Education with a focus on Marriage and Family Counseling. I’ve had the privilege of working with children, teens, adults, couples, parents, stepparents, grandparents, active-duty service members, veterans, and their families.

When I’m not in session, you can usually find me tending to my three fish tanks, enjoying some “beach therapy,” trying out new foods, or dancing it out in a Zumba class.

In therapy, I focus on Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method principles for couples, and family systems approaches. My work often involves supporting clients who see and experience the world differently, including many who identify as neurodiverse, and I aim to create a space where all perspectives are respected and valued. Most importantly, I’m a real person just like you, navigating life and doing my best to keep learning and growing. I’m here to help you find clarity, healing, and hope, because I truly get it.
